Austin is a punk haven for artists in all places, but where else but to start at the Mohawk, one of Austin’s premiere venues that has been host to a myriad of punk artists over the years. Luckily, as Red River faces a sharp decline in venues, the Mohawk has stood against the rising tides of rent and red tape. I have seen many shows here, and tonight’s show was an experience that is difficult to put into words; however, seeing as it’s my job, I’m gonna do the best I can.
